Late registration of death

Directorate for General Administration

Purpose: Maintain the register of the Ledger of Deaths - RLD

Description: The applicant files a request to the Civil Registration Office, and after filling the necessary form and documents, the Late Registration of Birth shall follow.

  • The testimony of two witnesses, who have seen the deceased or have identified the body with no suspicion that death happened outside health institution. (Original)
  • Death certificate, international or equivalent (when death occurred outside the country) (NONE)
